Posifon Pico Pro is a Swedish-designed GPS alarm and mobile security alarm. As the name suggests, it is a GPS alarm in a small format. The unit is based on modern technology and, despite its small size, contains all the necessary functions that you would expect from a security alarm. The device is normally worn in a necklace around the neck, bag or pocket. In addition to the alarm button, high precision on the outdoor positions and good battery life, the Pico Pro has indoor positioning and speakers with good quality sound. The device is waterproof according to IP67. It communicates via 4G with secondary (fallback) communication over 2G and 3G.

Advanced positioning

What distinguishes Pico Pro is, among other things, the reliable positioning. In addition to advanced GPS positioning outdoors, the Pico Pro can be positioned indoors using WiFi and bluetooth home beacons. If there is a WiFi network in the building (the unit requires contact with at least 2 WiFi routers), the unit can take advantage of these to provide a reliable position even indoors. This applies to all types of spaces, including restaurants and shopping malls where there are WiFi networks. As an alternative, it is possible to buy small home beacons. These can be placed in suitable places in the home and thus provide more precise positions indoors if there is no available WiFi network. When Pico Pro is in contact with one or more WiFi networks or beacons, it goes into save mode and does not try to take any GPS positions, which both saves energy and extends battery life.

Smart alarm functions

Posifon Pico Pro is not only a gps tracker that quickly updates and sends new reliable positions, but also a mobile safety alarm. The unit has a built-in speaker and microphone that supports two-way communication wherever you are. You can call your device but also receive calls from others.

Furthermore, the unit also has a fall sensor that can detect a fall and send out an alarm automatically, it cal also trigger an alarm if the unit travels over a certain speed.
